The Hole in the Wall Cafe, Kammanahalli – A Pork Lover’s Paradise

If you’re in Bengaluru, craving a hearty English breakfast or some indulgent continental dishes, The Hole in the Wall Cafe on Nehru Road, near Kammanahalli, is a must-visit.

I dropped by this continental restaurant in April 2025 for breakfast. Let me tell you, it was a feast for both the eyes and the taste buds!

Why Visit the Hole in the Wall Cafe?

This cozy spot is perfect for anyone in Kammanahalli or nearby areas looking to savor a classic English breakfast or dive into some delicious pork dishes. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this restaurant’s continental menu will leave you hungry for more.

What I Ordered

The Biker’s Pork Meat Platter

The Bikers Pork Meat Platter – The Hole in the wall Cafe

A carnivore’s dream! This platter is a glorious spread of pork pepper sausage, bacon, pork pepperoni, pork ham, and pork breakfast sausage. Paired with fresh lettuce, olives, cucumber, tomatoes, and onions, it’s as vibrant as it is flavorful. Trust me, every bite was pure bliss!

The Porky Hole 9 Yards Hash

This dish is a masterpiece in a bowl. It includes diced hash browns, pork pepper sausage, chopped bacon, and pork pepperoni. These are tossed with sautéed onions, capsicum, and mushrooms. It is crowned with two fried eggs and served with two slices of brown bread and butter. Need I say more? It’s impossible for this not to be amazing!

The Hole in the Wall Café Ambience

The Hole in the Wall Cafe stands out with its unique vibe. Think library setup with classic books, walls adorned with photographs of bands, musicians, and quirky quotes. It’s unlike any other restaurant in Bengaluru (unless it’s another branch of this chain). The seating is comfy, the music is mellow, and the place is spotlessly clean.

Service

The staff are friendly, and the service is generally good. However, during peak hours or weekends, expect a slight delay as the place gets packed. Patience is key, but the food is worth the wait!

Facilities

This family-friendly restaurant is great for couples and kids. The restroom was clean during my visit, which is always a plus. Parking, however, can be tricky. Scooters are fine, but car parking is a challenge due to the busy Nehru Road traffic. There’s no dedicated parking, so plan accordingly.

Best time to visit

For a relaxed experience, aim for brunch on a Saturday or Sunday. Be prepared for crowds during weekends, though—I waited 10-15 minutes for a table. Early birds might have better luck!

My recommendation

If you’re a foodie who loves exploring cuisines, The Hole in the Wall Cafe is a must-try. You will especially enjoy their English breakfast or pork-heavy dishes. Just make sure you have enough time to soak in the vibe and savor the meal.
